Its been mentioned before quite a bit on skype about the unused servers we have. it was suggested that we get rid of them.... im more for getn rid of them and having another FFA server with a small mod on there that has spawn protect. we could have the same maps on rotation as the flagship FFA just with the spawn protect mod. this does require a 1 time very small download as stock servers do not allow the use of mods.
members and Guests please chime in and have your view. the person i would ask about the mod side would be mits as he is King when it comes to knowing what mods are best. so mits if this was to go ahead what would you recommend for this .. would have 2 be a small download mits asmost ppl are not keen on big downloads.
just putn it out there....

1) spawn protection is included in many mods !!
2) is 10.6 mega a small mod (for a full option mod) ??

Great topic APOC.
Personally I prefer TDM over FFA. I actually don't like FFA that much (for a number of reasons) but play it because that's what the majority of our clan play.
I am as guilty as anyone for not sitting in the TDM server as the little time I get to play games I want to be actually playing (time pressures due to having a family).
I'm all for rationalising servers to ensure the Clan doesn't have to cover unnecessary costs as long as we provide what the majority of our members (and guests) want.
