Not only do you have Easter to contend with this weekend but also April Foolsâ Day. And if youâve got any credibility, youâll need to get your nearest and dearest with the most savage prank before midday. So what prank to pull? This excellent list of April Fool pranks for friends, family and colleagues will give you plenty of inspiration. Here are some of the simplest but most effective pranks to play on your parents, or your kids, on April Foolsâ Day.
1. Mess with their heads around the home First of all, you can change their clocks. Thatâs an easy one, and car clocks are an especially good target as theyâll never suspect. Replacing booze with apple juice, and apple juice with erâ¦. something else⦠can also be fun in the kitchen. Then comes the food pranks. Ever tasted an Oreo with toothpaste in the middle, for instance? And you can get even more irritating⦠Tell them youâve made fresh brownies and you hope theyâre hungry Yes, those are Brussels sprouts inside those wrappers
2. Time for Netflix? Argh. The remote batteries need changing This prank idea is pure genius
3. Big. Fat. Fake. Bugs Swing this from a ceiling or place it in a bed, or even a toilet. Either way, brilliant stuff
4. Tamper with framed photos
5. Turn their morning drive into a nightmare Yes, weâre talking about putting a picture of someone terrifying over the reverse camera of someoneâs car. It works a treat.
6. Make it look like their computer is ruined Dangerous game, ruining someoneâs laptop⦠If you want to play with fire, use craft glue to create a fake splodge of milk the night before. When itâs dry, place it on their lap top keyboard and place an empty vessel nearby so it looks like something was spilt.
7. Turn the condiments against them
8. Make them feel like someone is watching them Using a well-placed hair extension, a fake pair of shoes and trousers, or baby doll, you can do wonders
9. Transform their belongings The wrapping paper effect takes time but itâs worth it Duct tape of the strongest variety is required for this prank
10. Make toilet time that much more uncomfortable Arrrgh! For this one, you need a black fine liner or similar ink pen. Take the toilet roll and draw a spider on the outer side of the roll but not right by the edge of the paper. Then roll it back so that the spider will appear when they yank down the loo roll. And when they want to wash the spider off their hands???? They CANâT!!! Painting a soap bar with clear nail varnish will make it unlatherable, and unusable, but they will not know until they try it out!
