Hi guys,
Catch/ Paratoxic here :) Has been a while since I last played and thought I come back to check out Cod4 again. My pc has been idle and gathering dust for about 2 years but it still works. Very rusty skill wise but it is fun to play again!
Really good to see that FH is still here! There are not many servers left and the ones that are left are managed terribly. Tried to play some European servers (my ping there is about 15-30) but left within 10 seconds due to being spawnkilled 4 times in a row.
Are the old gang still here (Mits, Pear, Jock for example)? I will try and pop in once in a while to get my ass handed to me by you guys haha. You are doing a great job with keeping the community alive and hosting a terrific server! It is really a compliment that you have been able to keep it up for more than 7 years now! Wow! And still with the same principles of creating an environment where good players aren't hassled and players of other quality levels can just have fun and know that there are admins checking and helping.
A lot of servers I have frequented in the past aren't here anymore but you guys are still going strong! Keep it up guys (and girls?)!
Will see you ingame! And for admins who do not know me I play by the name Paratoxic but if you !alias me you will probably see a number of names and also [FH] tags. But that is because I used to be a member a long time ago.

Great to hear from you and glad you are going to be around again from time to time!
Some of the old gang are still around for sure. Pear doesn't play a lot but he does a lot of the tech stuff behind the scenes. His two younger brothers play quite a bit. Mits is around here and there (often incognito) but his job has been keeping him away lately. I took a little time off myself due to demanding changes at work and some family stuff. And yes, we have continued to attract quality players and great people to join our FH team.
I'll watch for you in game under your new(er) name Paratoxic!

Cool to read that you guys are still here! Rob still MIA? Job and family kept me away from gaming as well but now I have a little me time sometimes so I hope to be able to play a few games per week. When I started a game last week it felt good to be able to do it again and it is almost like riding a bike. You never really forget how to do it. Albeit not as good as before but still able to shoot some people. I even got called a cheater once or twice already :deadhorse: And without even playing well haha. But that is something that will never change (people yelling cheater for no reason). Maybe I will see you ingame sometime but might be difficult due to the time difference.
I really hope Pear's younger brothers aren't anywhere near as good as he is! :shagga
