Title: Apple COD4 Players - WARNING!!
Post by: {FH}Mayor McCheese on September 13, 2017, 09:57:50 am
All -

If you are a Mac user and wish to continue playing COD4, do not upgrade to High Sierra. According to Developer Center, Mac app updates and existing apps must support 64-bit starting June 2018” - Since COD4 is 32-bit, your installation will no longer be supported and will no longer work!

Please check back to this forum for any work-around ideas and/or if you have any ideas for work-arounds, please post them here!  Possibilities include creating a Windows partition or even using a VM.

Hopefully something can be figured out... or just buy a PC (but some of y'all are adamant Apple cultists)

A VM is a Virtual Machine.  So, in other words, an emulator.

Aspyr (the COD developer) says the game should work as usual in High Sierra.
