Hey guys, i'm going to post an example on how to set up a keybind in case anyone wants to use them in game instead of typing out verbal warnings. I always try to use my key binds before i actually warn but to each his own
first you would need to go into a server and then type into the console
for this code x = whatever number/letter you want to use
^2 = the color you can change the number to change the color to what you want
/bind x say^2 Marty is not allowed here, please remove it, thanks!
/bind x say^4 Last stand is not allowed, please remove it, thanks!
List of colors:
^0 = Black
^1 = Red
^2 = Green
^3 = Yellow
^4 = Blue
^5 = Cyan
^6 = Purple
^7 = White or Pink
^8 = Gray
^9 = RANDOM

Funny, I was going to start a thread about this in the general forums, but this is already here, soooo.
I had a question about a bind I've been trying to do, don't know if it is possible tbh.
So, due to the fact that I'm lazy sometimes, and dislike clicking multiple buttons to switch to spectate, I tried to create a bind to do so.... only was able to get this far: /bind kp_home "openscriptmenu ingame changeteam"
That is the extent of the openscriptmenu command, so I'm lead to believe a script may be needed? If it's even possible. Just wanted to see if you guys are able to expand on this...

My problem with binds is I accidently seem to hit them in game from time to time and then have to manually type in... nevermind accidently hit bind key :noob:
But maybe I'll try again. :slideaway:

For never people that wants to record, change FPS etc, you can make binds for that too.
example type this into the console "/bind F1 record" to stop record i use "/bind F2 stoprecord"
F1 being the key I use to record.

Binds are awesome. You can bind basic commands so you don't have to type them in the console every time.

I have the rotate map command bound to my "}" key, so i can switch the map instantly if people hate it (im looking at you bloc).

The command !r should fix that for you TopGun. It will list the rules on your screen and tell you what rule number it is.

Unbinding a key is simply using the command “unbind” in the console, however, I don’t believe there is a command to simply change the key for a bind. You can change it by bringing up the bind list and retyping that, or you can copy paste what you want in the confit files if that works for you
