Hey all,

Just wanted to voice my concerns about the warnings that I have received, and hoping I can clear up any issues before I get banned.  And a bit of paranoia I admit: 

Please help me to understand what "is" and 'is not" accepted as far as wasting folks in spawns. I love playing in the server and the admins do a great job, IMHO.

Maybe this goes back to a different post about excessive spawn killing in the server lately, IDK. But for me, it's very hard to not look around before stepping out of spawn or leaving an area for fear of getting wasted by someone.

I don't want to do this, I just want to run around, but for the sake of trying to win, lol,  you kinda watch your back even if that area or place is a spawn point because if you don't you WILL be shot by someone who just spawned, and in most cases, they are trying to do the same thing you just did after spawning, and I'm sure they don't cheat, the vast majority of them anyway, lol.

I wouldn't call that "spawn camping" per se, it's just playing smart, IMHO. Spawn camping, as I understand it is: someone not moving, camping motionless, pointing directly at a spawn point waiting for someone to spawn and then wasting them right after, and then repeat. BUT, it's your server and not mine, and you all set the rules and lay down definitions and I'm 100% ok with that of course. So, Just want to get clarification on the issue per YOUR rules and understanding.

I know there are some who say I "spawn rove" and admittedly, sometimes I do circle back and check roving paths when the server is very full, but not spawn points, to me, you must do this or else you won't last long lol. However, I very rarely point at a spawn unless I seen bullets come from it, then to me it's fair game, but also want to hear from you all on this and adhere to the clan rules for this matter. If I have crossed the line, and I'm sure I have a time or two on this I do apologize for the spawn kills.

It's kinda ironic, but the few times that I have been warned, I stop my game play for a second and reflect on what is was I just did to get the warning, and I get wasted in spawn 5 times before I can even resume play lol. And sometimes by admins lol! But again, I think sometimes and most times in fact, it just happens, and wasn't an intentional act per se, it's just the flow of the game more or less. 

The other day, I just came directly out of spawns and went forward through the maps and my overall score reflected it lol. I had like 60 kills and 70 deaths lol. I attribute that to so much camping or folks not leaving their general area from spawn, again because it seams like you have to, especially if you want to win lol.

Again, love playing in the server and the "regulars" you all attract to the server and all the admins (they all do a great job). Thanks for your time.

I was in server when you were bot warned by an admin and I was spectating too.  We have some admins who are quick to offer spawn camping warnings and as leaders we are trying to make sure admins are only warning players who are blatantly and repeatedly spawn camping.  In my opinion, and the opinion of our other leaders, you likely should not have been warned.  On the other hand, we aren't trying to throw any of our own admin under the bus.  Everyone is trying to do the best for our servers.  Sometimes it is just a little fine tuning on our end that is needed.

We have enjoyed you playing on our servers and I think I can safely say that you are not in any danger of being banned.

key Kilrbkild there has been a big influx in players spawn camping and spawn trolling lately, spawn trolling imop ( going over and back to spawns )is imop just as bad as spawn camping, believe me your not 1 of the regulars that constantly do it. sure check that your exit is clear and goooooooooooooooooooo     but there is no need to check other spawns in your area  4 or 5 times thats just trolling.

your a excellent gamer and yes i have seen you troll a few times but its NOTHING compared to some and believe me when i say NOTHING lolololol as for the banned comment no way we dont ban ppl for spawn camping / trolling hell we have some with over 30 kicks lol we just try and discourage it.  It would have to be a major problem for some 1 to get banned for spawn camping / trolling.

Without getting into a pissing match, I was playing you in Strike yesterday afternoon.  You stood behind the South tower wall for two minutes never moving once from that position. You picked me off coming out of the short ally with the car spawn 5 times!  I called you sc and you're reply was "cry much", that erked me as I don't make false accusations, and was only tryign to get you to move so you wou;dn't be breakjing any rules.  You would have been fine in that position if you moved around however you stood there facing the East road picking off the two spawn points to your front, and who knows about the spawn points behind you.  It's a great spot if you kill from it once and move on, but once you stand there and get kill after kill from it it's become an infraction.

You then went on into the next game trolling a younger player  (stinger), you were pretty much harassing the poor lil fella, and I kept quite but Mary saw all that and told you to stop.

You and I are new recruits, let's not let this little piff get in the way of being great members.....young feller!

Just want to offer my two cents too.  I've played kilr quite a few times and have spectated him a number of times as well, as some people have accused him of hacking, spawn camping, etc.  Not once have I seen anything suspicious in regards to his gameplay.  Has he spawn killed a few times?  Sure, but everyone does at one time or another.  I haven't seen any blatant spawn camping, though.  IMO, play on, player, and I'll see you in server.

As far as the roof top on Strike, if you are looking to shoot the guy behind the fence without looking elsewhere and do it repeatedly over a period of time .... including randomly firing at the fence where players spawn, then yes that could lead to a warning for spawn camping.  But standing in that one place sniping people as they come down the short ally, that's not a problem.  The fact that he could do it for two minutes and not be killed speaks to the lack of skilled players in the game IMO, than it does him playing unfairly.   Holding the roof isn't an easy task and staying in one location on that roof makes it even more difficult.  I've been picked off repeatedly on the ally trying to go after a guy I know is up there.  If you can hold it, more power to you!

I think theres a level of self control that more experienced players should undertake without the need to have people police their actions.  I for one run through the toilet in the TV station map (god I know I should know the name of the map).  9 times out of 10 Ill see someone spawn in the corner below the stair case and Im smart enough to know its a cheap shot to take and that it would be better for me not to take it because I simply know better.   I turn around knowing they arent a risk and head back the other way.

There are a lot of places in the maps where you are caught between two spawn points.  That map with the down chinook (yep should know that map name as well) for instance - if you look at the building overlooking the garage more often that not players will sit there running from garage, to mid point to the oil drum spawn points.  Most players are smart enough to know what they are doing there...but they do it anyways.  Even regulars.

At the end of the day its going to boil down to an admin making a call and politely asking someone to reconsider their actions and the hope that the person confronted will realise that they know better and that to stop what they are doing will make the game play a lot more enjoyable than taking cheap shots.

On the issues that you raised: While I do recall the situations you mentioned, I obviously remember it going down a different way lol. But, I will leave it go at that.

But, I will say, I do see the point on the map you provided, and I did shoot you from there, but it was only once. (in fact I never sit there because of the exposure to your back, and that spot is very soft and can easily be shot through) The other 2 times came with you VERY exposed in the alley and I shot you from under the building lol. In all three cases, you might recall, I was using a bolt action rifle while you had an auto? 

lol, It's all good though man, it's just all hear say anyway, and my word against yours and that's no fun to track down. I love playing with you too and plan on killing you a lot more hehehe
