Title: Mr Kelvin part one video
Post by: CP31 on February 22, 2013, 10:13:42 am
The video is very poor however Chet Manley and I watched him all morning while no staff was available.

http://smg.beta.photobucket.com/user/sholi2000/media/MrKelvin2_zps31be1530.mp4.html (http://smg.beta.photobucket.com/user/sholi2000/media/MrKelvin2_zps31be1530.mp4.html)

He's very good at not shooting through walls, and I will upload the other video that is more obvious than this one, with  better commentary lol.

When ever his wpn twitches, that's the first sign he's looking.  Then he'll never get shot in the back. He switches on and off all game long.  When he thinks he's clear, he'll twitch again and go directly to the target.

You have to watch him all game long, and see how when it's turned on he never gets shot in the back and then when he's called out he gets hit all the time plus he'll say take a demo and post it.  He'll be clean the entire time, then turn it back on.

I'll down load the other link here when it is ready.

The other file is way better, but I need to send via email.  Way clearer on your pc, than the photo server.

Excellent! Something with some subtance.
This does show some good footage, however, keep in mind that it does basically omit audio.. So much is lost in translation.

"He's very good at not shooting through walls"
xD I try to wall people all the time. Its hit and miss though cause I can only hear people and see them on UAV. Occasionally when I have UAV and I know somebody is on the floor above me, I'll often try to find the spot directly under them and blindfire up into the ceiling. It only works like 1 in 10 tries, but its great when you get lucky. xD

Muzzle flash is a dead give-away and can get you a ton of x-ray kills.

If they're level with me and I hear footsteps I'll often spray a kind of "search pattern" into a wall to see if I get a hit indicator. If I get one, I just double back to the spot and on hardcore I can often get the follow-up shots easily enough. Alot of this comes down to map knowledge, being able to "see" through the wall and know whats on the other side is pretty useful.

"When ever his wpn twitches, that's the first sign he's looking.  Then he'll never get shot in the back. He switches on and off all game long.  When he thinks he's clear, he'll twitch again and go directly to the target."

I twitch all the time. xD You'll rarely see me hold my view still for more than a few seconds. I play with a Logitech G9X on 5700 dpi, 1000mhz. VSync off, windows and ingame mouse smoothing off, windows mouse speed set to default, 0 prerendered frames in Nvidia Control Panel.. I play at a capped constant 250fps, and basically what I'm getting at.. is that the mouse feel I get in this game is pretty perfect. I've optimized my mouse to almost-ideal.. It allows me to get pretty ridiculous accuracy and speed. I highly suggest that, at the very least, everybody turns vsync off, as well as setting windows mouse speed to default (the middle of the slider) and windows mouse acceleration ("enhance pointer precision") to OFF! Also, cap your FPS at a multiple of 125 (125 minimum for good mouse feel!) and change your settings until you can get it to stay there solid. :3

"You have to watch him all game long, and see how when it's turned on he never gets shot in the back and then when he's called out he gets hit all the time plus he'll say take a demo and post it.  He'll be clean the entire time, then turn it back on."

I try to play as consistantly as possible. In the games you're referring to, I still maintain a ratio consistant with my overall average.. Somewhere around 2.6-3.0.. In some games I get complacent. Sometimes I twitch less, I check my corners less, etc. I can't play flawlessly EVERY game. It does get kind of fatiguing in a way, after awhile. :p

However, I digress! I must thank you for having the integrity to post evidence. I called you out; I challenged you to do so and I respect that you did. I apologize for any bad blood between us, CP31, and can only hope that my explanation will clear things up.

Onto whats most important though, the video!

00:26:
I must point out my clay-dodging here. Someone asked me during one of my games today how I avoid dying from claymore so often. This is how.

(Apoc)00:30-00:34:
You point this out, I think as an example of how I "never get hit in the back".. If you notice, I check the common spawn 3 times before someone is actually there. Its worth noting that the server is quite full at this point and the spawns are SATURATED. Knowing that people were gonna spawn there regardless of whether or not I have line of sight, I try to move AWAY from the area to prevent camping the spawn. I constantly move through the map as much as possible for the same reason. However, there are some unfortunate spawns. It is indeed the cruel nature of CoD. I apologize if I get a particularly nasty spawnkill, but its impossible to avoid over the course of the game.

00:42+: "Check those spawns!"
Well dayum, I can't declare the whole map as "off-limits" to myself.. or else where would I go? Nobody was newly spawned up, anyway.

1:20: "See how he just looked around there?"
Hell yeah I look around. Not just to SEE but to HEAR. With proper directional audio you would have been able to hear footsteps. The way I'm able to "pinpoint" (with relative accuracy) the location of someone is this: When your crosshair / the vertical center line of your monitor passes over the source of a sound, there's a very discernable (to a sharp ear) switch from left ear to right ear volume (or vice versa.) Turning around ingame doesn't just move your eyes, it essentially moves your ears too. Use this. A headset is a MUST for this, due to the complete isolation of left ear from the right ear.

1:32: "There's no way he knows someone's up there!"
You're right, I didn't. lol. I saw a player camping there 2 or 3 times that game (Boney). I threw a blind nade hoping to get lucky. I do this alot. If you camp a spot and kill me from it, you better believe I'm going back there and I'm gonna wall you or blind nade you to death. This comes down to playing the PLAYER as much as you play the game. I'll always keep a close eye on the people I'm playing against, especially regular/better players. If I have your number, its 'cause I'm paying attention. Feel the love :3 <3

I'm sure alot of you have played against a player named "Jazz".. and I guarantee you, you ALL know exactly how he plays. He picks the most ridiculous spots to camp. Like.. the spots that are sometimes so bad you don't think to check them, so he kills the shit out of you! When I play against him I always try to check spots that I normally wouldn't.. He also likes to go back to the same spot a few times in a row. Im sure many of you do the same! This is a good example.

3:22: What about the stupid crap that I always do? I thought this dude was dead. When I turned around and saw him again I was really surprised, I wasnt sure if it was a respawn or not. xD For every blind nade/stun I throw that hits, I throw 5 that don't. For every bullet that hits through a wall, I fire 20 that don't hit. Don't forget about that.. lol

*shrug*

I dunno what else to say! Hopefully this clears a little bit up for you.. I don't really do anything that incredible.. I dont see what all the fuss is about to be fair! :p

I only put this much effort into convincing you because I value my ability to play on the server and the CoD4 community means a lot to me. Without servers like yours, there's no real haven in the community anymore, for oldschool PC FPS players. I put this much time into clearing my name because.. well, you guys have had my back for awhile now, always looking at this objectively, even in the face of numerous false accusations. You put the effort in so I feel I should, too.

Thanks for reading.

I'm also guessing you went into your cod folder and removed all the items that blocks players vision  IE, cartoons, grass, rain, cars.

And that little shake you do isn't for fun.

I've seen what good players play like, and you sir show all the signs of a hacker.  My other video is clear evidence.  Soon to be shown to all.

yaaay I liked that one! :3 But really nothing that special there.. A few good twitches. You again neglected to include proper audio, so much is missing. One thing is clear though: You don't make good enough use of your headset. Try turning that up. All of these kills can be explained by the loud clomping of boots through the wet grass :3

Also, to say I play differently when FH players are on is a complete lie. I play exactly the same. My scores are always consistent. To "only hack when admins aren't around" would be pointless anyway. Not only that but earlier in the day I played a round and went 100-8. There was at least one admin on at the time. Your logic is flawed.

Why don't you just fraps your demos instead of.. recording your monitor with a cellphone camera.. Its a PC not an xbox. xD

Buds here's the deal, and this is just me yaking away.

My observation.

While playing and not under known observation you do not die from being shot in the back. You are able to go directly to each spawn and gets kills and only die when a player with super ping pops up around you.

While being called out you die all the time from shots in the back, and your kill/death skill set is normal.

I sat for an hour watching you, and your playing style went from normal to crazy good, over and over again. Back and forth all game.

Here?s an idea, why don?t you play us all and record your game play so we know for sure.

That?s the only way!  Then again I?m just an old retired grunt who knows nothing about these tips and tricks that people do.  Maybe you are legit, but many of us COD4 vets know our hackers and you walk like a freakin duck.

To be honest I am not even a FH yet so my opinion means nothing.

haha! When being called out by a regular, I have a tendency to try to defend myself. That you're right about. It causes my ratios to go down a bit, and I die a little more often when typing/reading chat.. But overall my ratios are very consistent. Some games are better than others, but thats not terribly abnormal.

To be honest, when I play, I usually know I'm being specced by at least one person. I make no effort to play differently. Although its a bit intimidating, I always want to do well for whoever is watching xD The "pressure" this makes me feel, at times, makes me make different decisions.

However, thats an excellent idea. I'd be happy to record myself. I will get footage from both a physical camera and ingame demos, which I will record with fraps at a good resolution and with proper audio and upload to youtube. Hopefully that will help.

and of course your opinion matters. You're a regular on FH and I know for a fact that regular players are highly valued by server admins. The loss of a few regular players from such a small, tight-knit community would definitely be felt, so I'm sure the FH admins put some weight into your opinion. Because of this, I do too; thats why you see me try so hard to sway your views.

Look forward to my vids!

All the best dood.

Unlocking this real quick.... I'm busy posting in this thread and Q locks it....  :censored:

If your going to use an external camera as well as use a recording program on your computer, I would personally rather you use the in-game demo function with your external camera instead of fraps.

Open console.
Type "/record <demoname>"
When your done "/stoprecord"

More info here: http://fhclan.com/forum/index.php?topic=408.0 (http://fhclan.com/forum/index.php?topic=408.0)

Much smaller file than a fraps video, its just a bunch of game states that uses the game itself to do the video rendering. You can record a 30 minute round with only about 8 MB of data... Beats the hell out of moving around 2 gig video files. Much easier on your HDD too.  :sFun_bananacolors:

And locked.
