Title: FH SwampDaddy and setting clays
Post by: kilrbkild on April 11, 2014, 05:10:43 pm
Ok, so here is my rant, LOL. Better here than in game..

So I get kicked form the server, I'm assuming by this admin, because I asked about proper places to set clays?? I beleive the message was "disrespecting admin".

This is after I was warned about setting clays in spawn areas, which I do not do, I just follow the lead by others for common spots to set them but wanted clarification on it, non the less.

Swamp daddy response was. "are you trying to piss me off" ??? Really? I think you all know me well, I don't try to "piss admins off", my objective is to win and enjoy the game.

I've been asked about my clays before, by deathdealer, most notably, and I straight up comply, and he tells my why or why not he doesn't like it and no problems, easy convo, and it's over, the game goes on.

In the many months i have played in the server, I've never even seen this person, so I suppose it's like a new sheriff in town, thing.

Anyway, kinda unfortunate. I didn't go back in and play, just let it go, figured I would take it up here as I said I would.

Kinda thought this whole thing was disrespectful I thought, and quite the contrary to ALL the other admins that frequent the server.

BTW.. the clay was set in Crash, upper house in the corner, adjacent to the garage. The clay, was in the corner when you first enter the house on the main floor. The other I set, was in the same house, upper floor, at the top of the ladder that leads from the alley next to the garbage cans.

I have set them there a thousand times, and have died over a thousand from others setting their clays. SwampDaddy said no dice because it's a choke point from spawns?

If it's a no go there, then in your servers, I won't set them there. Your house, your rules as I have always said.

Anyway, just want to get the clarification on that. Thanks for your time.

Kill or be killed, your are a trouble maker.     Joking.

I also clay there, the way you do.  Players do sometime spawn under the stairs, but can easely see the clay neer the door.  When you are online, I also know do look there before I enter the building or go up stairs or ladder..  You are so predictable.  :banned:

Ps hope you get the humor

Kilr,
Much respect to you for not arguing about it on the server but coming here to clarify.

Swamp is a long time admin but has been on hiatus from time to time.

We are looking into the situation and will get back to you.

As far as clays in the location you mentioned.  If I am understanding the placement correctly, they would be allowed there.

LOL Platoon.. But it seams, i am only predictable to you, thank God, it's ONLY you! lol .. Ok, now let the bullets fly! LMAO :shooting: :shooting:

That's the way I have always seen it too, that's what shocked me about it; Yes there is a spawn under the stairs, but not there. In-fact, that is why I don't put one on those stairs leading up, because that spawn is there. At the top yes, stairs no.

Anyway.... I'll see you soon ;)  :starwars:

I'm in agreement with Jock, if I interpret the locations correct (hardware main floor-pointed at entrance/upper hardware by ladder).

I'll post pictures for clarifications tonight so that we're all on the same page.

i gave you 3-4 verbal warnings about placing clays in spawns...no response.    Gave you 3 Bot warnings about placing clays in spawn...no response. You get kicked for too many warnings.. and your response is to taunt me durring the game about placement of clays...taking my time away from watching other players so that you can try and push my buttons and taunt me.."are you trying to piss me off " was my response. You got kicked for disrespecting Me , My Clan , and the work admins do to keep game somewhat civil. You know what you did was wrong...you DESERVe what you got. If you woulda responded to my warnings...instead of ignoring me to the point where you where automaticly kicked for WARNINGS....then everything would be fine. Instead you proceeded to taunt and disrespect me ... yet you feel the need to respond to your rule violations in forums instead game. Next time an Admin asks you about a certain rule violation mabey you'll respond and things wont go as far as they did  . NUFF SAID  :fingerwag:

SwampDaddy... I'm speechless.. Just speechless... none of what you said is true.. and, I have been an admin, owned servers, etc, etc.. there are game logs that can be gone through, it's all in writing. Sad

So, which is it? Did I get auto kicked for too many bot warnings, or did i get kicked for supposedly disrespecting you?

You got kicked for disrespecting Me

.instead of ignoring me to the point where you where automaticly kicked for WARNINGS

Secondly:
If you woulda responded to my warnings...instead of ignoring me

Really? I did try talking to you, hence the REAL reason you kicked me. If I didn't try talking to you about it, then we wouldn't be here having this discussion, LOL.

And you still haven't addressed the reason for your original complaint; where the clay was placed? Would you care to address that? After all, that's the whole point behind all this. LOL

As for the rest, I could dismantle it section by section, but I'm going to leave it alone. I felt I had to answer the call, I'm a man of integrity after-all, and when you have been called, it's time to show. So no disrespect to you intended.

Other Admins have agreed, this was the place to hash out differences, and that it was a good call. I concur and thanks to them for saying so. For, it is done out of respect for the clan, not disrespect.

I'm going to ask now that Kilr and Swamp have both had their say on this thread, that you refrain from anymore comments at this point.  Anything more said will certainly not be helpful but only continue to flame the fire.

Several leaders are sorting things and we will be in touch.

Thanks.
Jock

kilr,

Could you please post pictures of where and how you placed your clays? Pictures from a LAN server will work perfectly.

This thread will now be locked.

However, before doing so, I want to publicly let Kilr know that his record has been cleared.  He did not place clays in such a way that he broke server rules.  Looking at the chat logs, he did indeed respond in the server and did so politely.  Arsonist even agreed in server that the location of the clays were allowed and used by others.

Again, I want to thank Kilr for being polite and patient and bringing his concern to the forum.  Your humility and desire to abide by server rules is remarkable.

Thank you.  Kilr had applied to join FH awhile back and his interview will be completed in the near future.

Cheers!

Jock
