I would suggest you take a vote on one or two maps to remove from the map rotation on your FFA server.
The main map I suggest you put up for a vote is DOWNPOUR.
I read numerous negative remarks everytime it rotates up,and I see a lot of players leave the server when it starts raining....LOL
My opinion.
Whats your thoughts about slipping a modded map in your rotation....?

Agree. It's not just because I sucks in that map (I sucks in everyone, anyway! :noob:) but it's true that every time Downpoor comes in, many complains and/or simply take a break. If we don't go with a mod map, maybe Chinatown could be a cool option? (I love chicken balls!) :rockinbanana:

Wet work & Creek are great maps (hello snippers) that are not very much seen.. Maybe players would like them. :mustache:

I would suggest paying attention to how the population of the server changes as it scrolls through the maps. If a lot of people leave when a specific map comes on, maybe vote to remove it, like Striker is suggesting.
However, I rarely see an issue with the population of the server. Unless it's just a horrible map and/or an odd time, there are usually people playing.

I've done this, ive gone over the numbers and iI did have all the popular maps in the rotation but then everyone complained that we never played any other maps. So i added less popular ones and then people complained that they sucked. Then i made it so that the popular ones are played two times as much as the less popular ones but people still complained. I then made it so that only a few of the less popular maps were in the rotation with the popular ones and.... guess what? lol
There's really no perfect rotation of maps, no matter how you slice it, someone will be unhappy with a map. I for one don't really understand it, i'll play any map and i'll enjoy myself, the games supposed to be about fun, just adapt and have a good time...

Rob, I agree. I don't particularly like Downpour so when it comes on, it is a good time for me to take a break, stretch, get some food, chat, etc....
If I am wanting to play and Downpour comes on I will often ask if anyone minds if we go to next map. If even one person minds, I leave the map on Downpour. I know some like it. Often thought, no one minds and many thank me for switching it.
But I agree, Rob, you have set up a great rotation and have done so very thoughtfully. There is no perfect rotation for everyone.

I understand, haha. I suppose it is difficult to find a happy medium..
Personally, I like the rotation. When maps I don't care for come on, similar to Jock, I just go play League/take a break/whatnot.

Consider it done! We can also make the respawn time 5 minutes , this way we can maximize the pleasure of just viewing the map!

I know the answer - make every second map santas crash for two weeks...no one will complain again :p

I like all the maps, but it depends on how many people are on, crash is hell on earth if the server is near full, hate it, you spawn, kill someone, then they spawn behind you and you die, (repeat)
I prefer all the bigger maps duo the ammount of players that can be on the server, but of course they can be really boring when few people are playing.
Whats the max of maps you can have on the rotation?
