Title: no shoutbox - type box cod mw

recently I have a problem with my shoutbox in cod mw.
 I use the T key to write and then press enter then I do not see what I have written.
 I do not see what another wrote
 while others do see what I did write
 does anyone know how I can fix this

Have you tried just using console to speak instead?

no not yet.
but i tryed an old back up from the game and that one does work with using the chat box.

I believe I know the fix... When I joined a server before - it also changed this command which in turn took my chat away and I could not see anything.

seta cg_teamChatsOnly "0"

so open console and in console type the command   /seta cg_teamchatsonly 0

If it happens again just go ahead and give that command a try in console and it should fix it for ya (:

Hi wat je hebt 2 doen is ervoor zorgen dat de console is ingeschakeld, zie de eerste foto en zorg ervoor dat het zegt JA.

in de tweede foto te gebruiken die de sleutel tot de console en typ seta cg_teamChatsOnly openen "0"

dat zou het probleem moeten oplossen.
eventuele verdere hulp nodig hebt kunt u gewoon vragen :)

i found the console so thats good.
i type the line that you wrote but how do i open?
it says with O but how i dont understand

At your cod4 main page go to CONTROLS ------> MULTIPLAYER CONTROLS, where you see Chat choose a key to be used ingame for you to chat with. i use T.   as seen in the above picture.

Op je cod4 hoofdpagina te gaan met controles ------> multiplayer CONTROLS, waar zie je Chat kiezen voor een sleutel te gebruiken ingame voor u om te chatten met. ik gebruik T. zoals te zien in de bovenstaande foto.

i have tested a back up from the game folder from a while ago.
 with this one the chatbox does work so i just copy this and the problem is fixed.
