Michael Moore,Who posted on the internet called snipers cowards and quickly got put in his place by a U.S. real mcoy sniper along with some other post of support.
Here is the link of the post that Sniper Bryan Sikes sent to Mr. Moore if you care to read.

I copied a post of support from one other individual that brought in a whopping 95 thumbs up of support. This is a part that was taken out of the movie ,"A FEW GOOD MEN." I thought was very appropriate. This is the post.
" I HAVE NEITHER THE TIME NOR THE INCLINATION TO EXPLAIN MYSELF TO A MAN WHO RISES AND SLEEPS UNDER THE BLANKET OF THE VERY FREEDOM I PROVIDE,
THEN QUESTIONS THE MANNER IN WHICH I PROVIDE IT.
I'D RATHER YOU JUST SAID THANK YOU AND WENT ON YOUR WAY...OTHERWISE,I SUGGEST YOU PICK UP A WEAPON AND STAND A POST."
You can't put it down any better than that.
Not trying to start any controversy,Just thought you might like to read.
Micheal Moore as and American is intitle to his opinion and injoys the right of freedom of speech.

It sounds like a good movie to watch. I will wait until it comes out on BR to watch it.
One item of note that will detract from Chris Kyle's story is the fact he lied about punching Jesse Ventura in a bar at a SEALS Rally. His credibility, now, will always be suspect in the annals of history.
Defaming is bad enough, but to defame his fellow SEAL? That's a step beyond. And, for Chris to accuse him in the way he did, with regards to treasonous statements Jesse made that we now know were false and fabricated?
And, I think he did it to promote his book. Which he was ultimately successful in doing, obviously. But, it tainted his reputation none the less. And he didn't even need to do it, his story was good enough. Why Lie?
It takes all the heroism away from Chris Kyle, and unfortunately his story, which is very sad because it's a story worth telling.
JMHO.

I saw the movie and felt that it was pro-Kyle. I don't think he was as nice as he was portrayed on film. Most of the film was okay but at one point (PLASTIC BABY) it kinda fell apart lol. If you cant use a real baby.....why bother with the film lol :p

chet manley read the book first and then watched the movie. chet manley was disappointed by the movie all though the movie was ok. The movie left out a lot of Kyle's team members without who he could have never accomplished what he did. Plus there was no Iraqis sniper in the book and yeah....wtf with the plastic baby?

I served in the Marines for four years in the late 1980s and was a combat instructor at one point. Snipers was something that was never discussed. I know they were used on a limited basis in Vietnam, but did this become more common in the American military during Iraq and Afghanistan?
Also.... I saw the movie, and it was good. I believe they portrayed him properly. I have yet to meet a Navy Seal or Special Forces operator that wasn't exactly what you would want them to be.

i watched the movie twice and all i can say is thank you guys for doing what you do. your amazing people and you dont get 1/2 the thanks you deserve.

I served in the Marines with II MEF from 2008-2013 active duty, still inactive reservist atm. American snipers were more prevelant in Iraq like the Battle of Fallujah. Not so much in the mountainous terrain of Afghanistan atleast while I was there in 2011-2012. Most were to watch the roads for planting of IEDs atleast from my experience. Anyways, Semper Fi Demigod :D
