So - we see each other almost daily online, but I'm sure there's more to us than binary representations on a screen, so I figure I'll start with myself...
My name is John, I live in San Diego, CA.
I'm a Network Engineer who deals with all things networking - Security, Firewalls, Routers, Switches, Load Balancers, VMWare, Open Stack, etc... Primarily Juniper, not Cisco, even though I started out w/ Cisco. I work for a company which provides VPN services for the security-minded consumer or enterprise customer.
I also serve in the Navy Reserve (did 5 years active), and am about to retire.
I'm 41, been married 19 years as of yesterday to a beautiful Puerto Rican woman w/ a 16 year old daughter about to enter her Sr. Year of High School shortly.
I've played guitar since 14 years old and teach professionally and I am highly active in my local church.
I love 80s movies, I think they're the best ever made. I have no idea why I chose 'Mayor McCheese' as my handle as I hate McDonalds... I guess I just thought it was funny - although it does seem to get lots of comments from fellow players whenever I'm online . . . so I've got THAT going for me... which is nice. <---- Caddy Shack reference ;)
Your turn!

Nice idea and post, John (McCheese)!
My name is Dave and I live in Portland, Oregon. USA
I'm an elementary school teacher, currently teaching 3rd grade (only 3 weeks left 'till summer!!)
I'm 49 and have been married 23 years. My wife is an Occupational Therapist and also works in the schools. We have two sons - 19 and 17. We are all on the same schedule and enjoy the same holiday breaks, spring and summer break!
Interests/hobbies: I play drums (mostly for church worship team), basketball fanatic, Mustangs (cars, not horses), Gardening, family
Beer of choice: The Pacific NW is beer territory. Lots of great microbrews -- Black Butte Porter, Rogue's Dead Guy Ale, Widmer Hefeweizen (wheat beer). I am a bit of a beer snob, I guess. Mainstream beer choice - Killian's Irish Red
Fun Facts: My oldest son is the one that got me into COD4, of course he was only 11 at the time and wanted the game for Christmas. Prior to that the last computer game I had played was Diablo II. I was born in Hawaii and we travel to Maui for 2 weeks every couple of years....going this summer to celebrate my 50th BDay. I worked as a Director of Families and Youth in a church for 17 years prior to teaching in Public School the last 11 years. My oldest son is an accomplished pianist but doesn't want to make it a career. He is working at NIKE Employee Store, going to community college and will transfer to University of Oregon. I own and enjoy driving my 1968 Mustang.

From: Houston, TX
General: Turned 23 back in the end of April. Currently in graduate school for my MBA, focusing on accounting, in which I'll be graduating in May 2017. I'll be sitting for my CPA exam after obtaining my master's degree. On top of school, I'm currently working two part-time accounting jobs just for some side cash. After completing my accounting internship for one of the global Big Four public accounting firms in summer 2015, I signed my full time employment offer as an auditor with one of the terms requiring me to obtain my MBA.
Interests & Hobbies: I'm a gym junkie that works out six or seven days of the week depending on how I feel. Currently been cutting/shredding for personal reasons. If I'm not at school, I'm most likely in the gym. I'm into Olympic weightlifting, powerlifting, and bodybuilding. Currently sitting at 175 pounds with my deadlift, squat, and bench almost totaling 1500 pounds, collectively. I love eating good food (probably due to the crazy amount of lifting I do), drinking alcohol (only way to make time go by faster in grad. school), and traveling the world.
Important note: I'm probably drunk/hungover half the time I hop on CoD4.
Gaming Background: Been playing shooters since DOOM on MS-DOS as kid. Growing up, I would be the one to shoot with the mouse, while my brothers would take turn controlling the movement with the keyboard. Ever since then, I've been through multiple shooters on PC/console platforms. I've made a healthy amount of earnings from competitive FPS tournaments, probably more than enough I'd say. However, I've put those days behind me since there's more to life than just fragging pixels. I still hop on CoD4 and other shooters from time to time whenever my schedule permits.
Interesting fact: Although I have put in countless hours in the CoD series, during the time CoD4 came out (I was in high school), I thought the series was getting a bit stale so I never got into playing it. One day, my buddies and I were hanging out at one of our friend's place while we were playing CoD4 on the PC. Upon each death, we would switch off in rotation. My first time playing the game, there was an instance where we collectively made a bet that the first person to get a 15 kill streak going with the M40A3 sniper rifle would win $100. I was $100 richer that day. As you can tell from the story, my first gun shot on CoD4 was a sniper rifle, and this made me naturally main the sniper rifle exclusively for a time. The rest is history.
P.S. Yes, I'm Asian.

I am Jay, I am 43 and am in Tucson, Az, family has been here since mid 1800s.
Have been married to the same gal for 19 years now, we have 3 grown kids, and 4 grand-kids...
As a kid, I was hyper-athletic..cross country, judo/wrestling, swimming, cycling, etc....not so much anymore--your body cashes that check eventually, so beware!
I am a CNC Machinist and do prototype work in aerospace/defense mostly.
I also teach machine shop at the local community college.
I worked for a race team (asphalt latemodels) for about 10 years, and we were pretty successful locally.
Getting into recreational shooting. I have always been interested in long range stuff, just finished my first AR build etc.
I got into online gaming with an old FPS shooter franchise called Delta-Force. Played that for many years until COD4 came out and most of our
player base migrated away. Got hooked up with Jock and Co. some years ago and here I am.
Never been super competitive in COD4, this is a place I come to goof around and have fun mostly. I have met some great people along the way.
P.S. I am not Asian, lol

I'm Bill. I'm 33 years old and reside in Covington, Virginia. I've been married for 7 years this August and have 4 handsome sons from 5, 3, 2 and 6 months.
I'm a Master Carpenter and General Contractor, co-owning a Construction Business with my brother. Before going into Construction full-time, I was enlisted as a Sergeant in the Marine Corps as a Communications Technician/Combat Fitness Instructor/Range Instructor, etc etc.
While I was deployed in Afghanistan in 2011, a good friend introduced me to COD4, Rainbow Six Vegas and BF2. We had a spare switch, benefits of being in the Communication field, and ran CAT5 from Billeting structures to have LAN TDM, S&D and FFA matches. I wasn't much of a gamer so I'd get pummeled pretty badly although the game was a big relief from what we were out there to do. Before the deployment, I hadn't touched a graphic game since the first Playstation. I was just playing and an Admin of a hmtl text based game called drugrunners.net for years.
When I do find the time for hobbies, I enjoy the outdoors with hunting and fishing. I'm into fitness as well and train Muy Thai, Jiu Jitsu and weightlifting. I also enjoy working on antique cars. I currently have a 67 Mustang Coupe GT for a project. Perhaps a 1955 Chevy Belair will be my next one after the Mustang.

Repost - Just saw this!
Hey all,
Just want to say Hi here on the Forums.
Been playing over the last 2 weeks and I really enjoy the server - especially as I get quite a good ping!
I am based in the British Virgin Islands so COD 4 servers have been really hard to find.
I have been playing COD since it came out but had a break for the last few years as I had really bad internet on the islands I was living on.
I am a Captain for a private island here in the BVI which is pretty cool and am also a PADI Master Instructor (Scuba Diving) which is the job I just left after 7 years, so on to new things.
Looking forward to playing with you guys,
Sabian (Kris)
