PEAR... Anyone, have any Idea why the RPG's on THIS server don't shoot straight...Other servers I have played on they are
STRAIGHT and Deadly..... :pear
-
This is like the age old question about penises. Why are some straight as an arrow, while others tend to have a distinct bend to the right or to the left. No explanation.
But seriously, we adjusted the x and y axis of the gravitational pull so the RPGs would be more challenging to use. Because they inflict such enormous damage, we felt the gravitational adjustment would be the great equalizer. The amazing thing is we use a randomizer setting that changes the x and y axis each time an RPG is fired, thus leaving the user unsure of the trajectory, preventing one from mastering the setting and making the adjustment ineffective. In my opinion, it is one of the more ingenious programs Pear has created for our FH server.

Didnt even know that was possible on non-mod servers.
Well done, Pear.

Thanks for the explanation Jock
I am getting the distinct feeling you guys don't like us ... noob tubers .... :noob: hahahhaha
NO PROBLEM there.
I am getting pretty good at popping a cap on these jumpers in mid flight.... kinda like shooting clay birds in the air.

Striker,
RPG trajectory is set in the weapon file, on modded server you can change it, you can also set a guided RPG
Guided RPG
Regular RPG
Edited RPG
-
Thanks Mits, for the heads up, that was interesting viewing.
I don't every remember seeing that feature on a modded server or one of the newer games.
But that is understandable since I spend 95% of my time playing here the past couple of years.
-
those weapons are from different mod I made
thats why you did not see them before
1rst one is FHJ-18 AA from bo2
2nd and 3rd are mw3 xm25
based on how you play (tuber) you will like better this one (bo2 war machine)
:)

OK, guys..... that was all tongue in cheek. :rotfl:
As far as I know, RPGs cannot be changed on stock servers/maps. I think most servers have the same issue with RPGs being a little inaccurate. :poop:
-
Thanks Jock, I remember now, It was modded servers where the RPG's were so accurate.
-
I am the rpg king! I have mastered it's trajectories :quagmire: I do miss occasionally but the rpg seems to fire basically the same every time.. To the right and up, depending on the distance you wish to fire too.. It's pretty easy to calculate, I don't even scope in when I fire it because that makes the aiming harder in my opinion lol

wutz a rpg again?
-
RPG.... Stands for Rocket Propelled Grenade Deathdealer
It is a single weapon weapon of choice
Not to be confuse with a TUBE.
