FH has new modded server on this IP 162.248.94.157:28960.
This server use cod4x then first time you will join you will have to accept "auto update"

I copied our current b3 database ran a b3 instance against the copy of the database, so your admin powers will transfer over to this server as they were at the time of the copy. If/Once we upgrade all our servers to use cod4x, then we can use the same b3 database across the board, again.

did you allow download in your game setting ??
an easy fix with new window version is do a copy of game install folder and play mods from this copy (not sure it will work with mac)

The game alternates between FFA and Team Death match, by player VOTE.
With more players, this is going to be a good one .

CoD4x unfortunately does not have support for macOS, although their reasoning is understandable (they're reverse engineering the game and reimplementing it, and the mac version is just a whole separate game). They develop solely for the Windows platform since that's what the game was originally designed to run on, as well as the fact that ~90% of the players run Windows. That being said, there is no mac version.
BUT:
cod4x_on_macOS.png (775.54 kB . 1110x706 - viewed 879 times)It can be run on macOS, if you have no other choice. I would recommend a Bootcamp partition for Windows if you can though.
Here are the steps I did to run it:
- Find a Windows copy of the game
- Install XQuartz. https://www.xquartz.org/
- Install Wine. https://dl.winehq.org/wine-builds/macosx/download.html (choose "Wine Stable")
- Logout/Login or Reboot, to reset your environmental variables.
- Launch "Wine Stable" from your Launchpad
- Run the command on your terminal prompt: winecfg
- Install the Windows version of Steam. https://steamcdn-a.akamaihd.net/client/installer/SteamSetup.exe (you should be able to double click the .exe to run it after wine is installed)
Steam needs to be running to use cod4x on a mac. Also when launching the game for the first time, you'll probably get prompts about needing a program called Mono, and another called Gecko. Wine is able to install them for you if you select OK.

Got this new 2 tera mac so i think more than enough space also current game on mac must be like 8 years old so more than amortized!
will give it a thought on partition :shagga
