continuing on with trexiL's advice...
I toggled r_multigpu to 0 and 1 in-game with no effect. Framerates drop by 100 or more when I enable CrossfireX through the Catalyst Control window. Are there any other settings? I didn't think there was anything physical on the motherboard to change.
System is: Asus p8p67 board
i7 2600K @3.4GHz
Sapphire HD 6970 (2) Video
OCZ 1000W PS
It seems to run really well with just one 6970. Framerates are a solid 250. Would be nice to see it at full pull though with both cards :shooting:

Keep r_multigpu at 1.
Crossfire has matured since last I used it, and there shouldn't be any BIOS settings to change I guess. That said, it couldn't hurt to look.
Couple really simple things to check (pardon me, I don't know how proficient you are)
Make sure you're installed to the correct PCI-e slots. On your board, these are quite obvious (the only ones with locks)
Are you using a bridge, and have you tried both bridge connectors, and have you checked the bridge itself for damage?
