Memorial Day, Monday the 27th,is a very solemn day for all Americans .
A day when we pay tribute to over one million men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice
on the battlefields while serving in Americas military...

Respect (not sure what you say on Memorial Day).  We have ANZAC day in New Zealand on 25 April which is the anniversary of the New Zealand and Australian soldiers landing at Gallipoli.  We have dawn services which everyone attends.  This year as a result of the Christchurch shooting the services were scaled down as they believed there was a threat and not enough Police to attend all the services.  If my dad is in town we go to an RSA and have a few drinks.  He served in the New Zealand Navy and saw active service around the pacific just prior to and during the conflict in Vietnam.

yep Anzac day is very important in Oz.  seems to be growing bigger each year which is encouraging.
We don't stop playing because we grow old, we grow old because we stop playing.
