Hey there Lazy,
First off, you know I like you, so you can at least know what I'm about to say isn't some kind of bullying - you know I've never been that way with you.
I just wanted to drop a few lines in here as it is clear that there is strong disagreement of what you believe is within the scope of proper administration by the administrators of this server that both you and I love to play on so much.
We all do well to understand that admins have prerogative.
Prerogative gives an admin the right to address an issue even if it is not explicitly outlined in rules.
At first glance, this may seem unfair - however, I can explain why it was not unfair.
Admins enforce rules because breaking rules "degrades and lowers the overall user-experience" for other players. That's really the only purpose of rules.
It was the conviction of the admin that a player who goes into spec with 99 kills for 5 or 10 minutes, only to come back in the last remaining seconds to win was degrading and lowering the user experience of the server.
Think of the person who was in 1st thinking he was finally going to be able to win a round... only to have that reward taken from them.
However, what got you into hot water was the manner by which you responded:

Yes - you thought you were "helping" the user experience by letting them play longer, however, if that is the case, be magnanimous and let someone else win instead of taking the victory
And lastly, please understand that when an admin says "please don't do that", then please don't do that instead of demanding to know if it's a rule or not, because at the end of the day, it really doesn't matter if it is an explicit rule if it is determined what is happening is degrading the user experience of the game.
