Hey everyone,

We've been having some players with very high pings lately and it really is causing lag on the server.  We are going to set a max limit of 300 ping to connect.  Hopefully that doesn't affect any of our members or regulars.  If you know of a situation, please respond here.  Hopefully it will make the server more fun and less troublesome.

250 might be a tad risky - we have admins such as myself connecting from Australia etc. and our pings are 200 minimum. And Jock, I assume it won't kick anyone who's already connected right? And what happens during that weird CI problem where everyone gets 999?

Yes, we recognize that we have several members and regulars in the 200s so that is why we thought 300 would be best.  No, it won't kick anyone if you spike over 300.  It is only a limit to the time of connection.  I'm not sure about the 999 problem, but pear might know.  i'm thinking it wouldn't register, but not sure.

At 4.04pm server time I got a you cannot disconnect...due to....ping message or something of that regard.  I attempted to join again and got on.

I've been having lot's of ''lag spikes'' since friday.  Dont know why, my ping is crap like always at 120..
