I highly suggest you guys add killcams on the server. There have been moments where players don't know who's right (cuz they obviously think theirs is the right side) when it comes to accusing if someone spawn camps or targets spawns etc, so why not add a killcam to get rid of these situations all-together?

Back when I was still in the BCT clan (before getting banned cuz majority thought I wallhacked or something) there was always this one member named badmed who would always call me out on wallhacking and saying I traced or whatever but I couldn't prove much cuz I wasn't recording and there wasn't a kill cam, since I obviously don't hack, if there was a killcam, he would have seen that I wasn't tracing or whatever - Just an example.

Another suggestion would be to change one of your other servers like tdm or first to thirty into the ffa one, but softcore instead. Being in 10+ clans in the past, I think I should know by now how well killcams work, and how effective they can be.

Thanks for the feedback.  I believe that one of the reasons we dont utilise kill-cam is that it gives the dead player a visual on the location of the killer which is unfair.  We wont be looking to put that feature back on.

I know why this came up, because of RustyNuts and what happened on the server.  He tubed a spawn and killed someone who was just spawning.  FYI Rusty has a poor history, with 67 warnings and 10 TB's before today.  Hes welcome to request an unban like every other banned player.

With regard to when we think someone is hacking we demo them and then peer review the demos.  If we arent certain, we put a notice on them and keep an eye out.  I think we do alright in that regard as well.

With regard to the first to thirty, guess what.....we have one but people flock only to the FFA server.  We have 2 x FFA, 1 x TDM and 1 X Promod servers - as per: https://fhclan.com/forum/index.php?page=servers

Oh, I know you guys are spot on with hacker catching and all, so that isn't an issue, but killcams should definitely be given a go, with regards to an unfair advantage, it's easy to just move along, though i'd say the pros should be able to outweigh the cons imo

When you die you can usually see to some extent where you have been killed as you die looking in that direction

I like the killcam idea, but keep in mind Thomas that a very high majority of the players on the FFA server are campers. So killcam would be a waste of time as they would be in the same spot / place anyway just run back and kill them ;)

And also the ppl that do constantly move around record the gameplay anyway.

I'm by no means a "bigshot" here..... but if we add Kill Cam (or Kiddy Cam as I like to call it) on the FFA 1 server then my tags will be handed back.
It's the main reason I play & joined the FH clan. It's hard enough being a serial camper with the insta kill cam giving away your position - never mind a 10 second trailer of where your picking off the run & gun brigade

honestly, killcam is not a bad idea and there is no advantage with it really as far as going back to kill a player.  I will explain but first, the advantage is that admins and players can play and if someone seems suspicious, like tracing a player thru a wall, then killcam shows this and can help out some. 

now to explain that its no advantage.  (other then you can click the skip button, which then for a split second may show a players position, even if they were not the one to kill you).  but, if you die, your screen will turn towards where you were shot from.  with or without a killcam, i know were a player was 90 or so percent of the time after i am killed because of this.  and most campers still move slightly so either killcam or screen facing towards a player, you get a general idea were they are and can go hunt them down. 

i enjoy just playing FFA and having players on, so i will tend to go to a favorites server that has players.  but honestly, i rather join a server with killcam then not, simply for aiding in rather a player is possibly using cheats or not.  not so much as to use it as a aid in pinpointing a players location. 


granted on larger maps, killcam helps out in aiding in players locations a bit more.  small maps like crash for instance and not so much.

Using the kill cam does not aid a player in my opinion.  It impairs a player's natural senses like learning to use their eyesight, hearing and developing a pattern to player movements and location.
