I enjoy playing on FH servers, thank you!

I recent built a new PC and on the new install of cod4 I can not destroy objects like TVs etc. On the old pc I can. Is there a mod/setting I am missing to get this back? Some have suggested this is a setting on my client but I've tried them all it seems, to no effect. No change. Objects are rigid. I can not shoot or bash them like I can on the old pc.

Does anyone know how I can get back to being able to destroy these objects in game?

What are your texture settings? If you’ve reduced your textures to increase FPS, that would probably be it. Aside from that I’m not sure, but it isn’t the game itself, as you have noted. Someone more experienced with the in-game console should be able to help if its not your base textures though.

The texture settings on the new pc are the same as the old. Auto/Anisotropic/Auto. I suppose one pc could be defaulting to a different setting since both are set to Auto for 2 of the 3 settings. I'll give that a shot and report back.

Thanks for that Mits.  The only problem with being able to destroy objects is that when you pass melons you want to blast the shit out of them lol
