Suggest a change in the server 30 min. time limit for the maps.
Would like to hear some other explanation of support besides " If it's not broke, leave it alone". or some other explanation that means the same.
I hope the server isn't being lulled to sleep, thinking all is copacetic, and no need for some adjustments.
Players I have talked to, have given up complaining about the time limit, because they feel they are wasting there time to say anything.... Are they ??

With a shorter time for the maps, you could run a lot more maps in rotation and I feel you would MAINTAIN the support from map to map.
Some of these maps are not to popular and some have fallen out of favor.
With a shorter time limit, players I think will be encouraged to stay and play on the next one.

Seriously, The few players who I have heard who seemed to be indifferent or just don't seemed to care how long the maps run. You can count on 1 or 2 hands the times they play in one week.

One very dedicated and concerned COD4 player with a lot of COD4 mileage.
This is more than one players opinion.

Hey Roy - the 30 minutes/100 kills is stock standard on the FFA server - there is a smaller FFA server.  I feel really stink but I don't recall the finer details as I love the stock standard FFA server.  If you type servers ingame it will show you the IP address details

When the current server has more than say 5 players - the current settings are fine.  If an admin is online at any time you can ask that a smaller map be rotated.  If I am in spec and am doing something else at home - Ill periodically check the server numbers and offer to rotate

I have been saying this for years. People's attention span is not what it once was, and the 30min maps are just to long. I know we have a 20 min map, but no either knows or cares to play on it, because there never anybody, including admins from our clan playing. Maybe if more of us in the clan played on the shorter time server, we could get more players on it. But I doubt that anything will happen. This game has been out for years and maybe it is a time for a change!!! Let's try it and see what happens, as we can always change it back. I am sure that players won't leave because they are not getting 100 kills or have 30mins to play. Let's give a go

Sean, I know, you are very good and johnny on the spot about offering to change the map when just a few players are playing.
A player doesn't even have to asked for a map change.
Believe me... Your concern and services are very much appreciated my friend.
But the few players and changing the map is relevant to the smaller size map and playing field.

Something about variety is the spice of life......And I am not talking about wives or girlfriends....HA HA

I feel there isn't as many players wanting the shorter gameplay.  Otherwise our other server would populate.  I have sat in there for hours while on that server and one person joined to play.  The more that go there, the quicker it will populate I believe.  The map rotation is different and includes other maps such as shipment, kill house, etc

Livewire the only reason that server doesn't get populated and it never will, unless players resign themselves and go onto the server and play. That does not mean to go into spectate and sit, or walk away from your computer with only your name present.
Players will only go where and when they see players playing.
You have to consider the age of COD4
That initial support, and cooperative effort can only be expected to come from the FHclan members.
The map time limit is irrelevant.
Trust me on that.
