Tapatalk is an app which I believe can be installed on iPhone or Android which could receive notifications to particular topics within the forum.

If so - could this be leveraged in such manner that if there is a cheater on the server when there is no admin online (such as last night) one could simply post on these forums, and an admin with Tapatalk installed would see a notification pop up on their phone - hop on their computer and RCON?  Perhaps make it a requirement for admins to have Tapatalk installed on their phone?

This could help admins with speed and agility to maintain FH as the top-notch server it is.

Just a thought - McThanks!

Hey John, thanks for the idea. As far as notifications go, the forums allow each user to subscribe for notifications under specific boards, as well as specific topics, to receive emails when a post or reply is made in the respective board/topic.

I've personally subscribed for notifications in the ban appeals and report cheater/demo submission boards, as well as some other non-public boards.

I don't foresee integrating Tapatalk and our forums. What I do think would be useful is something that could be utilized in the gameserver for regulars to ping admins who might be available but out of the game, something I'll put on my todo list.

Completely understand Pear - thanks for listening.

Last night in particular was excruciatingly painful for the regulars as CombC#123 and SHOCK_g were getting so graphic and rude, spamming and not shutting up when being asked to.  Everyone was practically praying for an admin to pop online but of course everyone has their life outside of COD4, as they should!

Perhaps a review the chat logs and a retro-ban might be taken into consideration . . .

Thanks!
