We all know the rules about camping on spawn points, but can you just wonder through the Cave and kill whoever might have just spawned

I understand your frustration.   

There really is no preventing that situation.  With two spawns in the caves and players allowed to exit either way, the only option at times is a shootout and at times it is going to just be bad timing.   Creek isn't my favorite map for several reasons, and the cave is one of them.

It happens on all maps, but as you say within a small confined place like the caves, it really would have been better if there would have only been one spawn point in there.  Oh Well.

My advice, be ready right away and move immediately.  I have my finger on the forward button even before spawning so I'm moving as soon as possible.  No rest time.
