WORLD'S CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH..... I propose a championship match between... AWDY   and  GOD .

A match... grudge match.... like God versus evil (Awdy), for the title of..."TOP GUN".
It could be played on the TDM server or the other shorter timed FH server with maps of there choice.
Whataya say God !... You want a shot at the TITLE.....???
You have to defend that title sometime....
           

I'm inclined to think that Godlike might be willing to humor the suggestion - however, I don't get the sense the awdy would, as he doesn't come off as being very amicable.

Besides, is 1-on-1 really a good test?  A single round wouldn't be enough.

I would think 3 rounds on 5 small/medium maps might work.  Maybe reduce the kill quota to 25 instead of 100...

Kill House, Shipment, Crash, Backlot, Showdown

I think it would be a great idea. The title of "Top Gun" could be one that some of the better players on our server would enjoy I would think. I do agree too that it would be better on our quicker FFA map, as the kills need to win are shorter, and there are a few different maps on that one.  What say you guys?

 YES, You want to have more than one map match...
From then on , other players could step forward and challenge the champ with other championship matches..
Maybe even change the OTHER server to a ffa MOD and give our players some exposure to mods.
Might even have TUBER MATCH....

1v1's don't really mean anything lol, just shows who can play more passively.

It first needs to be determined WHO the Top Gun is . . . Godlike or awdy.

Seeing that a 1-on-1 can't really decide this, I suggest the following:

1. Schedule a date through the forum.
2. 10 FH Clan members must confirm to participate
3. 10 FH Clan members wear the same uniform - Top Gun applicant wears something different.
3a. Because a clan member may want to be sniper - ghillie suit is approved.  (TG applicant may still be allowed to be sniper too)
4. 10 FH Clan members go against 1 (uniform difference helps differentiate members from TG applicant) on 6 different maps (2 small, 2 med, 2 large) 100 Kills.

Time in accordance w/ Kill/Death ratio will determine better score... I guess xls stats (or whatever it is called) might do that very calculation, but I don't know enough about that.

Anyway - that's my 2¢

xlr really can not equate skill level when someone has a much newer guid and the other has one that's been around the block a time or two.  Makes it harder to move up skill points when you have xxx,xxx kills xx,xxx deaths versus a guid with xx,xxx kills xxxx deaths.

The winner of the match between God and Awdy will be the world's champ ( THE TOP GUN ) of the FH server, until
the next medal of honor hero steps forward and wins the title and so on.

The TDM matches are a extra positive , a build on from the MAIN EVENT.
The bottom line here is WHO is the best player.
I THINK that is what PRO is all about.
Nothing to stop us from having our own championship matches and some bragging rights for the TOP GUN  TAG

Would love to see Godlike and Apoc go head to head. These two are very good FFA players and also very good mod players.  My money would be on Apoc. I have seen that boy in action in both FFA and mod.
