I was wondering what everyone uses for  gaming ...i use an old microsoft trackball...what is everyone else using? 

A mouse and keyboard? Just the cheap ones you get when you buy a pc.

I have an ASUS keyboard and a Razer DeathAdder mouse.

Another aspect I really like is my mouse pad...may not seem like a big deal but to me it helps a lot.  I have a rocketfish pad... it is has a metal core with hard plastic finish and has two sides a "speed" side and a "control" side.  I use the control side usually.  http://www.rocketfishproducts.com/products/computer-accessories/RF-MSEPAD.html

The rough grain of the wood really helps with control as well as speed. The dust motes in my 10 year old keyboard transfer the pressure I apply to the keys even quicker. Which gives me a real advantage over players using a new keyboard. Never underestimate th power of dust! 

I use a Razer Blackwidow keyboard. My mouse is a Logitech G5, love it.

@ Pear    I used to use the logitech g5 until it died.     But I like the deathadder too.
