Got kicked for an hour today for "arguing" with admin (FH Rainbow) over Claymores & spawns.
I disagreed with his definition of placing clays within a certain distance & direction of the spawns but was kicked for defending myself when others that were on the FFA server began to chip in.
Pretty obvious my explanations fell on deaf ears & his over zealous use of admin privileges was all too obvious.
It felt to me like he was having a bad day & that, coupled with his dislike of the Claymore perk was too much for him.
As a respected ex clan member who frequently plays on the FFA server & never had an issue before I would suggest FH Rainbow learns the rules on Claymores before calling someone out in the future........... I categorically deny placing a Claymore "2 steps away from a spawn" but that was his claim.   :fingerwag:
Biggest disappointment now is every time he's on at the same time as me he will target me for the same reason(s).  :thud
If I said anything out of turn Rainbow - I apologise but please in the future allow someone to defend their actions in a civilised manner before repeatedly warning & kicking... it felt like you were goading me on to make it easier for you to perform what you set out to do..... I respect your position but not your ethics......... Good day Sir!!

The lack of replies speaks volumes here....  :peeking:
I will take it as the matter has been handled internally.....  :grouphug:
Thank you.

Nothing has been handled internally, for what I know.

You left FH, you deserve same respect as all players, not much / not less !!

You are free to do screenshots of your clays placement and post here. I will check your screenshots (if you post them).

You are not allowed to place clays on spawn points (wether for defence or not because your camping in the spawn point) , or have them facing towards spawn points or blocking the only exit of a spawn,  This is my definition of claying a spawn. We have not discussed this thread internally. Sorry for the late replies.. Like mits suggested, you could post some screen shots of where your clays were placed.

Sorry Mits.....
Why didn't you just put that instead of using the word "port" ??
Why confuse it? I've never searched for a server by ID before!!
Like you,... now I'm "pissed" too...
Tried to take screenshots with Bandicam application & they just came out completely black screen.
Works fine in every other game I have.
You know me well enough (as do lots of other clan members) to know I don't clay the spawns.

mits called it a port because that's what it is, and ports are designated after the IP address with a ":" followed by the port number.

Since you're having issues with your program, you could use the builtin screenshot feature in the game. In the console type "/screenshotjpeg". That'll save the shot in your screenshots folder that is in your game directory. If you haven't overwritten default key binds, F12 defaults to the screenshotjpeg command and you won't have to use the console.

all seems ok for me ... far enough of the spaws

If players can leave spawns and still alive thats ok, if they chose the wrong way thats thier problems (if you block all spawns exit with your clays thats not ok)

1.  No clays in a spawn location (that's the easy part).  It doesn't matter which way it faces, at the spawn or away from the spawn.

2.  Sometimes players justify it because they plan on camping in the spawn and the clay is "protecting them".  That is not allowed.

3.  There has to be a way to leave the spawn without being trapped by the clay. In other words, if there is only one way out of the spawn and a clay is placed around the corner from the only exit, that is not allowed.

4.  If there are two exits from a spawn and they can exit safely in one direction, a clay placed around the corner from a spawn in the other direction is allowed.

Remember the key is, is there A WAY they can LEAVE the spawn WITHOUT triggering a clay?

5.  If they use both their clays around each corner of the only ways to escape, that is not allowed.  Example:  In Crash at the upper elevation two story building across from the garage.  If a clay is placed in the lower area outside the room with the inside stairs and facing the doorway between those two rooms and another at the top of the stairs, there essentially is no way for a person spawning downstairs behind the stairs to leave the buliding.

^^ thats so well said :p

Thanks Mits......
No hard feelings rainbow - mistakes happen & the temp ban was only for an hour so no lasting damage done.
Heads up though if you don't like the Claymore perk you can counter it using the bomb squad perk.
Still have to be on your metal though especially if you run & gun.....  easy to miss the graphic on screen.
I prefer a more relaxed stealth type game & love the "click.... boom" sound of a strategic Claymore
See y'all on the server - have fun.

Bomb squad only works when playing against someone on the other 'team', if they're on the same team, such as spetznaz or marines, then the icon for an explosive won't show up

Bomb squad perk does not function properly in ffa because the people in your team eg. Marines, will place clays that will kill you because it's ffa but you won't see them because they are on the same team as you.. You will only see spetznaz clays, not marines clays and vice versa..
