I've been unable to connect the past couple of days. The message says somebody in using my key. It's game I bought from Steam, so I'm guessing they are using shared keys? Or, my key was hacked. I went to game tracker and noticed Bumping Ugly has been connected for 2 days. Not sure if that is the problem, because I played with him many times...

This happens to all of us steam users every now and again. happens to me quite a bit also, not really anything you can do but wait unfortunately. If you connect to the server through the mirror server we have and you are getting that message before it redirects you to the ffa1 server then don't connect through your'e favorite's list or server list and connect via i.p address.

open console and type /connect 64.94.101.157:28960

Day 3 still can't connect. Tried connecting through the console, got the same message. Any other suggestions? Is there a way to use a different key? I do have the original game cd, but of course no cd driver...

Yeah, I had that problem the other day as well. In all the years I've played the game, it's the first time I've ever gotten that message. Kinda surprised me.

This happened to Olf a couple of months back.
He tried everything, and it eventually resolved itself after a few days.  See below link

Finally connected after 4 days. I guess it fixed itself...

Let me rephrase that... It sometimes lets me connect.
