I dont know about yall, but im getting tired of the same map rotations, is there possibly anyway we could upload  more custom maps, or any other maps beside overgrown, district, strike, broadcast, chinatown, countdown, crash, pipeline, crossfire

Ive always wanted custom maps but they don't work on regular servers, it would require a download and the server would have to completely change, otherwise i'll add any map that everyone wants. We experimented with map of the week about a month ago but it got very little attention.




What map would you guys like added?

What i can do is add one and subtract one throughout. try to update etc..
 


maybe start with wetwork for a few days? throw in downpour etc..

I agree with Xbox except for Wetwork. When the server gets full that map will turn into a brutal session of spawn killing. With 10+ people, you can barely move.

The issue with custom maps is the server becomes a modded server. The developers of cod4, when they built the server browser, they structured the default filters to exclude modded servers by default. This has an unfortunate effect; your casual player will get on and simply refresh the server list, and go to a server having never tweaked their browser filters. Therefore, the server remains hidden on their list and loses the majority of its traffic, everyday casual players.

If it wasn't for that we would have loaded custom maps last year.

In TDM, I think I would have no problem adding all those maps to a regular rotation. With FFA I would only do some of them temporarily. But one that I feel just wouldn't work is Bog. It's completely open and you can see the whole map at any given time. That just spells disaster for spawns in an FFA.

and BROADCAST is THE most predictable map we play (I play?)    -  anyhow

the sad thing is broadcast attracts the players. along with backlot / crash / strike/   maps like bloc just kill the game.

my rotation choice would be ( as in map rotation )

1 . Crash
2. Creek    <--- i will explain why these maps are in them spots below.
3. Backlot
4. AMBUSH  <--
5. Broadcast
6. VACANT <---
7.Overgrown
8. Strike.

i think to add not so popular maps like the 1'z i added above  with the <----  you have 2 put them in between rly popular maps. so ppl will stay on and play ..

I'd like to just point out that the most popular maps for our server are


1) crossfire
2) broadcast






overgrown, crash, backlot and strike bringing up the rear.






i wish we could set different times to different maps, this way would could add say creek, but just for 10 minutes etc..

Hi ya all! Did you notice that when FARM comes on, many players leave.  It would be fun if it could be replaced for some time with some other that we never see.
