I am afraid that I have the displeasure of reporting one of your members for blatant disregard of our rules and our Admins on our server 1 a few minutes ago.

{FH} Silent G3 continued to break our rules even when asked to stop, he even attempted to use our Bot commands. As a final gesture he relentlessly spammed our server at game end and left.

I have permanently banned this player from |BG| servers and I suggest you question his behaviour. He certainly is not giving the {FH}Clan a good name abroad.

First off Ivor  thanks for banning me for a pistol bind on your server. Even thou I gave you demos and you can't prove instead you banned without proof.  You got a demo or something of G3? Cause you guys change rules when anyone is kicking your ass. The only rules you have are the ones that suit your needs.

I think my answer to your post was quite appropriate, we expect visitors to our servers to respect our rules, as we would respect your rules if we were visiting your servers.

It is obvious that you have players in your Clan, like G3, who feel they can flout the rules and behave like an ass when visiting other servers, well not ours.

The answer is simple, FH members who wish to play on our servers and play by our rules are welcome, those who do not will be banned.

LOL again you failed to even come close to answering the questions posted. Also I never broke a rule(s) beside using standard stock pistol. It's called skill/luck/map knowledge some have it others don't. Yet, when it comes to someone giving you demo's and asking you to prove it you can't. Funny how that works in my favor huh.  The point with  LtThandrs  you don't even know a hacker when he's even in your own clan much less running it. 

Also again I've asked if you have a demo of G3 or we just gong to have to take your word for it? That didn't workout last time for me when I posted on your site. Remember you abused your power and locked topic unable to answer the questions posted above. Imagine the shock.....

As for G3 he has never been a problem, matter of fact you're the only one that has ever came and complained about an FH players. While goggle clearly shows you guys have a lot of fans out from your old 8th days even to you new 8th clan BG.

Just think if we were on your server I'd have to ban you trying to prove a point. Ohhh the irony

I'm going to step in here, against my better judgement, for the sake of trying to de-escalate the situation.

I think we have made a fair effort at trying to put the past in the past....i.e. the old 8th.  In regards to Ivor and those that left to start BG we wanted to not hold the past against them and to try to establish a positive or at least neutral relationship. 

Ivor, in fairness, you have some admins that really struggle with telling the difference between skill and hacks. You also have many excellent admin that are friendly and welcoming!  The few that struggle with adminning often ban when in doubt. It has happened to me (redirect), Apoc, Crypto, etc... It was much worse at the old 8th.  I have seen that BG has handed out way less bans and has also been more willing to honestly look at ban appeals and make sure they have firm evidence (although, it seems Crypto's case may not fit that description).

Many BG members have visited our server and many FHers have made it over to the BG server.....for the most part, with positive results.  I don't know of a BG player that has had a negative visit to our server and we certainly haven't banned any BG players.

If one of our members, in this case Silent G3, blatantly broke rules on your server, Ivor, we would love to have the details so that we know what the circumstances were.  Chat logs of the spamming would help too.  If there is a demo, that would be the best.  Obviously, we don't want our members to misrepresent our clan or to give FH a bad name out and about.  Can you provide us or me with more details.  If you don't want to hash this out in the forum, send me a personal message with more details please.

Silent G3 is a valued member of FH and has been an upstanding citizen in our community.  I hope we can resolve this issue without further escalation and continue to maintain civility.  I will ask, Ivor, that you take another look at Crypto's appeal on your end and I'll be happy to review anything you have to share about the situation with Silent G3.

Thanks for taking the time to communicate with us....the goal of communication should be to resolve issues, not cause division.  I trust, Ivor, that was your intent.  With that in mind...name calling, as in the title, "Trouble Maker" may not be the best approach.  So let's all try to be civil and work together to resolve issues with mutual respect.

Open Letter to IvorMills,

I am aware of your long  experience with setting up and managing the 8th Inf. and now the BG clan.

You are to be complimented for their past and continued  success.

I think I can speak openly and objectively about this issue from a 3rd person and please take it that way.
Keeping in mind that I have nothing personal to gain by this post.

It's common knowledge among active and non active COD players the 8th and BG clans have a track record of coming down hard on guests who play on your servers.
That I can verify myself by being kicked twice from your former clan, the 8th Inf.
If my memory serves me correctly  that's the only time I have been ever kicked from any server since I started playing COD United Offensive .
Which I take a lot of pride in relating to you.
IT is not my intentions in turning this into a pissing contest,  but it escapes me with all your experience and expertise,  why you choose a PUBLIC PLATFORM to try and resolve this issue about a FH member ???

You know as well as I do there is a right way and a wrong way to address this kind of issue, and you should not be surprised to see the results.
I encourage you to try a more diplomatic procedure and use the PM process that's available to you.
I am sure you will find that the mail goes through without delay.

I was thinking more like this, Mike as awesome.  I highly doubt we'll see him again. (IVOR) doesn't like those things called facts.  However, if there are any facts we'd love to see them.  I find it funny, we have to take his word, yet  on their site no one is afforded that opportunity.  Even when presented with overwhelming evidence in the face of there guilty first attitudes.

Hello there people! I find this an interesting post, as to what crypto said: 'Cause you guys change rules when anyone is kicking your ass.'

I couldn't help but smile and agree to this, I remember very well a few years ago I was playing in BG and was kicking ass then without warning whatsoever some guy banned me right off the bat, lost all my respect to BG, and everything it stands for.

Well, Poison, I will point out that BG is less than a year old...but perhaps you are referring to the 8th, where their founder (Ivor) and most their admins originated.  Then, that is likely a correct memory.

Sorry, but I've only just caught up with the forum & more to the point this thread....
As many of you know I was recently promoted from recruit to admins & I've been trying to learn the bot commands, having no experience with them before.
When I joined the BG server, I noticed a chat message warning the group about player #10, so I decided to see if the !list command would tell me who it was.... obviously (as I am now aware) you can only see that info on your own servers....
I was warned via BG admin in the chat; not to attempt using the commands again & I hastily apologised offering my recent promotion as an excuse.
The admin(s) then took offence to my coloured generated chat binds such as "Well Played" & "Nice Claymore" for example (again some of you will be familiar with these)..... I apologised again & continued to play.
A little while after I forgot and instinctively used a coloured bind chat again like "Nice Shot" & was again warned from doing so.... it was almost the end of the round so near the end of the countdown I spammed the chat about 10 times with "Good Game"....... It felt like I was being treated like a child so I behaved like one...... To be honest if genuine chat is banned in colour.. I don't wanna play on their server(s) anyway.

Thanks, Silent for filling us in on the circumstances of Ivor's complaint. 

It sounds as though you innocently tried to use the bot (not realizing it only works on our servers) and after being warned, stopped trying.  In this instance, you were not intending to cause any problems.

It sounds as though you innocently used color binds, to say positive comments, and after being warned that color chat is not allowed, you stopped....temporarily.  In this instance, you were not intending to cause any problems.

However, when you used them again, albeit accidental out of habit, and especially at the end of the map (intentional), you overstepped and as you put it acted childish.  Thank you for acknowledging that. 

While you did break their rules, on the list of offenses, when weighted, it seems rather minor.  As we know, on some servers what seems minor to most can seem like a bigger deal to them. 

When we visit other servers, let's all of us, try to be respectful of their rules.  When you wear the FH tags, your actions do represent our clan so please be careful.  Obviously, if you can't adjust to another servers rules, or don't agree with them, then you can find another server to play.

Silent, as I said, you are respected member of FH.  We all make mistakes, have a bad day, etc... You've acknowledged your behavior as wrong (spamming at the end) and I think we can just move forward.  Lesson learned.
