Attention Players. I would like to get a sample of how you all feel about the length of the maps on our FFA1 Server. The maps are 30mins long. I believe that the time length of these maps should be 20 mins. What is your opinion? If you agree with me, vote Yes, if you disagree with me write No.

The time is fine, it's not broken don't fix it. Plus, we have another server for this very reason, but no one plays on it for a reason.

 Crypt, Maybe you haven't been around to hear the comments on the server and skype about the length of the maps.
 Players I have talked to have given up about getting the time of the maps shorten, why because that's all they hear. "If it's not broke etc.
 I have play on this server every day, about 3000 times ,and believe me if you played everyday like some of us do, I think when you hear that quote. My opinion, they don't play often on the server. I am sure there are exceptions, ones who are hung up on the amount of kills and that is a consideration to.
My opinion again, It's certainly not a priority or takes president in determining the map time. 

 Crypt you know just as well as I do, The REASON players aren't playing on the new server, It sure as hell is not because of the time limit!
 Need I remind you, Players go where there are players playing, BOTTOM LINE
 Now if you Crypt, and the REST of the FH Members care to DONATE some time and SUPPORT your clan server, Go sit on the new server, You might find out how nice it is with the SHORTER MAP TIMES...LOL

Striker, I would just like to let you know that Crypto is on a handful of times everyday, he puts plenty of his time forward in terms of being online for the clan. He was also one of a handful of people who spent a lot of time in our newest server when we first activated it, trying to help establish regular client flow for it.

I guess it's also worth noting that roughly three-quarters of our listed "active" members have spent time in one or more of our servers this week, which in my mind designates a relatively active membership. Those numbers don't include people who were unable to play but are keeping up to date by accessing the forums/Skype group.

What I'm getting at: your comment reads (to me) that FH members don't donate enough time to the clan. I don't think that is accurate, and I'm sure that there are others who would agree with me since there is a lot of time and effort put towards this clan by its members. I'm not trying to divert the topic of this post, I just wanted to clarify that particular point since I felt it was inaccurate.

I would say don't change it. I know there was a time when the time for some reason was set back to 20 mins and it was just all wrong. That 30 min time plus the 100 kills to me perfect. You see many times where the time and the score limit are just about perfect. To me it's harmony

It was intended to be taken constructively.
I made no reference to the FFA1 server or FH forum or general FH clan activities and the support by clan members.
I see no one playing on the new server and that is the only reference made about clan support.
I did not bring up the new server and I was not trying to turn this into a pissing match either...LOL
If I am not mistaken this topic about time limit has been brought up several times and to my knowledge that's as far as it gets.
I suggest you advertise it on the FFA1 server, ask players to register in the forum, come in and vote .
Lets get everyone involved once and for all and put this to a vote. What do you have to lose??? If the majority want to shorten the map time, I hardly think players will stop playing because of the reduced map time.

well ppl have been asking for a little change. if pear gets time could he maybe put a small mod on there so we could run a few custom maps / some remakes of the stock maps are cool.

nothing huge just a few maps 4 would be cool.

It all comes down to the particular map with me.
We all have our favourite maps & personally I could quite easily play Crossfire, Broadcast, Strike & Crash for an hour at a time.
The ones I'm not keen on like Vacant & Bloc tend to drag.
Another point worth noting is the number of times the 100 kills kicks in before the time limit does when it's busy & maps tend to last around the 20 minute mark!!!

I went on the main server and asked if anyone would join me on the FFA2 with the shorter maps and the lower kills (30). At first it was just 4 of us, and slowly one by one they came on and stayed. And we finally had a full server (12)!!!! And the comments were great. They all like the shorter times and the 30 kills.  Guys like TREX, Blah, etc, etc....

That's great to hear!  That's why we have that one set up differently.

Even if it's 30 minutes, do we go there many times.  We get to 100kills much faster than 30minutes.

But maybe 2 minutes would be fine for Broadcast.... :p
