Have downloaded and installed COD4 Modern Warfare but cannot get into Multiplayer. When I attempt this, either through Game or through Steam Library, I get an 'error' message asking :   Do you wish to play in Safe mode?  COD4 did not shut down correctly last time"  (or words to that effect!!  Whether I select YES or NO, it simply takes me back to the page where I can enter COD4 .... then attempt Multiplayer again, and the cycle continues. Does anyone know what I may be doing wrong???  I have uninstalled and re-installed the game. No change!!  Thanks in advance

Hi Taipan. Can u enter single player? I'm not sure but did ya checked your graphic card driver ? I'll using steam and Geforce NVIDIA's, all works fine. Only problems what i had, is 8.1xx patch, it wont let me enter into game like yours. Not remember exactly this patch evalution, but i can check it ltr. good luck, don't give up.
