Hi Gang- Hotwire here.  So when I try to play on the other FH servers, why won't my laptop download the maps?  A window opens up saying it will begin downloading but doesn't actually do anything. Is it a setting on my laptop? any info would be greatly appreciated.

- mac or pc ?
- what is your game version ? 1.7 ? 1.8 ? 1.9 ?
- if pc did you accept game update ?

I use a Mac and I'm guessing it's version 1.7.  when I go to play it, on the contents page, in the lower right hand corner it has 1.7.549

cod4x has no support for mac os

This issue you will have with mainly all Mod servers. will be ok with stock servers.

Also remember that all new IOS operating systems (post Mojave) will not support 32bit games.

Options to play from Mac? partition disk with Bootcamp. you can
a) install an older version of IOS (Mojave) and never update
b) install windows there
