stopped working about 1 week ago, COD starts says it was not shut down right and wants to know about starting in safe mode, I have tried both with it bombing out, have even saved my ranks and reinstalled, still same thing

Do you have a microphone you can plug in to your computer or a headset with a microphone, if so plug that in before you load it up
