Seriously, I think it is time to add some newer maps in the rotation,Not suggesting to delete ,just add some.

I think it might help with logistics,... populating and refreshing the server , might help reduce casualties from battle fatigue, or a chainging of the guard.

It seems to me there has been fewer players playing, and I play all hours.

My opinion this is a very important issue, possibly shorter map time and more maps in rotation.

Becoming stagnant is a issue we all face time to time and it's important to not give that impression,the same holds true for the game  servers

For example,The FFA server was 999 across the board for 5 to 7 days,I don't pay to much attention to my ping, because I live close and my ping is good.

Players who live like in Australia sure do and they like to know what there ping is.  ( PING is a common, and important issue outside the U.S. )

I heard a lot of comments from players  about pings. and the 999 issue.

My experience a simple reboot would have resolve it,  Point I am making is  not to become or give the impression OF COMPLACENSY  or getting STAGNATE . I feel we need more maps in rotation to maintain and to increase player participation.Admin. is not always around to handle request for map change.

Striker, I have the same feeling.  I even came on the server with Z?RO players.. that was a first time for me on FH.  For me the 999ping make me less online, I do watch it a lot.  I always lag but sometime it's very bad and I can See my ping...  If it's too high I know why I am doing so bad.  No I just quit no questions since I cant figure if play like a n00b or it's my ping not helping.  Maybe a map or 2 more in the rotation would also make it fee less like a 24h Broadcast server....

I also notice that the XRSTATS page is gone, maybe this can effect some competitive players comeback more when the can see the XLRSTAT?

I wouldnt mind some Creek, Ambush and Bloc.  I would gladly trade District and/or Vacant for any of those.

People avoid smaller maps, especially in busy servers, but..... you could throw in a smaller map like Killhouse or Bog with the stipulation that when playing those maps specifically (and those maps ONLY) that its going to be a little bat-shit crazy and let the players go nuts and enjoy the mayhem.  Just as long as everyone is on the same page and feelers dont get hurt when the spawn killing happens.  Then when the next map starts return to normalcy.  Its a little tough to do, but hella fun if you can pull it off.

When our server glitched with the 999 pings we kept it that way for about a week on purpose, not because we didn't notice. We had a handful of posts in our shout box that explained it. Activision's CoD4 master server was down for a while, approximately Dec. 18 2014 - Feb. 10, 2015. This made it such that after a reboot, the server blocked incoming connections for roughly 20 minutes. Hence, we waited till the server was empty.

Platoon, our XLRstats web-front will be down indefinitely. Our web host started blocking external connections to MySQL databases which inhibits our website from connecting to our b3 bot to get the data for the stats. The stats still function in-game however, and is not a likely reason the server traffic took a dip. The more likely reason was since the master server was down, no one could refresh a clean list of global servers in their browser. Only servers saved to their favorites would display.
